POLO to Set Up Online System for OFWs to Verify Employment Contracts

From July 23, 2017, overseas workers in Qatar who need confirmation of their employment agreements with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) can apply for an online appointment. The system aims to eliminate overcrowding and long wait times for stakeholders. Now customers don’t have to hurry to get the number.

On July 30, 2017, the Labor Office will prefer to accept applications from those who have an online appointment scheduler. The employment contract is an important document for Filipino workers for certain transactions in the Philippines.

Online Appointment System for Employment Contracts to be Offered Soon

Filipino workers applying for verification of individual employment contracts will have to go online, starting July 23, 2017. They can meet at www.polodoha.com.ph, visit the services, and click on the online book appointment.

Fill out the online application form and choose the exact date and time of the appointment with the POLO. Note that appointment times are only from Sunday to Thursday. The worker will receive an appointment confirmation via email. A hard copy of the confirmation of this appointment will be submitted to the POLO on the due date and time.

This online appointment system is different from the Balik Mangagaga system (or the BM online system for issuing and recording OEC). Polo also reminds its Filipino customers that the OEC issuance procedure will remain the same until the guidelines for iDOL or Doyle ID cards for overseas workers are implemented.
