SSS Monthly Pension
According to the SSS website, members are required to pay 120 contributions per month to be eligible for a monthly pension after retirement. People who cannot meet the required monthly subscriptions will receive a lump sum equal to the amount they have paid. If members are unable to pay their dues for a specified period, they will not be penalized. But other than that, a member cannot meet the required 120 monthly contributions. Members cannot pay for the months they lose. But on the other hand, they can pay the price for their contribution up front. It can be paid quarterly or annually.
